Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
The short version: SynthSense runs entirely on your device. It collects no personal information, creates no account, uses no analytics or tracking, and makes no network connections. Your camera feed is analyzed in real time and immediately discarded — it is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
Who we are
SynthSense ("the app") is developed by Craig Cowden ("we," "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information. If you have questions, contact us at craig@psiloops.com.
Information we collect
None. SynthSense does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- We do not require or create an account.
- We do not include analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- The app makes no network requests and has no server component.
- We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers, or usage data.
Camera access
SynthSense uses your device's camera to generate music from what it sees. The camera feed is processed on-device, in real time, to extract abstract features (such as color, brightness, texture, and motion) that drive the audio engine. Individual frames are analyzed and then immediately discarded.
The camera feed is never recorded, saved, or transmitted off your device. SynthSense does not take photos or videos in the background.
Microphone, location, and other data
SynthSense does not request access to your microphone, location, contacts, photo library, or any other personal data.
Children's privacy
SynthSense does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is safe for general audiences.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes.
