Troubleshooting

No sound?

Make sure your device isn't in silent mode and the volume is up. Tap the screen once to confirm sound is enabled (a sealed sigil appears when paused).

Camera is black or unavailable?

SynthSense needs camera access to work. Open Settings → SynthSense → Camera and enable it, then relaunch the app.

Audio sounds choppy or the device is warm?

Continuous camera analysis and audio is demanding. SynthSense automatically eases its analysis rate when the device heats up. Closing other apps can help.

Lens switching or depth options missing?

Available lenses and depth features depend on your device's cameras. Older devices may offer fewer options.
